Winning Banned in UK Schools More Than Half the Time (and why we, here in US should care)

Why should we care if UK is doing this? A couple of reasons. First, liberals / progressives / leftists / socialists here in the US of A routinely point to Europe as “enlightened” and push for us to emulate them. Even our courts are increasingly looking to Europe for guidance. Second, the UK has historically been our staunchest and most important ally going all the way back to World War I (along with Australia, and except for some recent exceptions, Canada). This will impact their nation and military. As Survival Blog points out, the Duke of Wellington who defeated Napoleon at Waterloo famously said, “the battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton.” Eton is the prestigious English boarding school where generations of British officers and statesmen have been educated. To that quote I will add one by our own General Douglas MacArthur, “on the fields of friendly strife are sown the seeds that on other days, on other fields will bear the fruits of victory.”

Friends, we are well on our way to raising an entire generation of entitled snowflakes who expect participation trophies and have never experienced losing and overcoming adversity. We must wake up.
